A film night was held on Friday 22nd February and we watched “The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society” – quite a mouthful but the film was enjoyed and so was the pie & pea supper. We raised £569.50 for church funds
A Coffee morning is held on the 1st Saturday of each month from 10am to 11am. Not only does this provide an opportunity for fellowship especially with our friends from Cowcliffe Methodist (who are regular supporters) & others, but the coffee mornings also raise money for the Church. The 1st Saturday in December is always the Christmas Coffee Morning and in 2018, it raised £250.
A good time was had by all at the Autumn Fundraiser where we were entertained by singer Kathie Ryan. the supper was good, the church was full and we literally “danced in the aisle” A whopping £762.50 was raised for the building fund.
Dorothy held a Garden Party at her house on 11th August 2018 – the weather was great and the tea/coffee & cakes magnificent. Another fundraiser for church funds
A BBQ was held at Jennifer & Colin’s home on 21st July 2018 which was a great occasion – good food; drinks & good company – all of which raised funds for the Church. Unfortunately, we do not have any photos to post!
